Ranking the six toughest quarterbacks on the Buffalo Bills' schedule
Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

The Buffalo Bills will have one of the toughest schedules in the NFL in 2024.

Buffalo is facing seven playoff teams from a season ago, and multiple teams that are expected to be in the playoff picture with tremendous quarterbacks. In terms of who the best signal callers are on their schedule, these are the six that will give them the most trouble.

6. Trevor Lawrence, Jacksonville Jaguars

Lawrence is tremendous. Before he suffered a list of injuries in the final quarter of the season, he had the Jaguars as the No. 1 seed in the AFC after 11 games. He is what makes the Jaguars relevant, and he'll bounce back in a big way in 2024.

5. Aaron Rodgers, New York Jets

The Jets are sure hoping Rodgers looks like his former self. With that defense, an improved offensive line, and solid weapons to distribute to, Rodgers should have the Jets in the playoff hunt.

4. Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens

Jackson is coming off a season in which he won the MVP, but it's not what I would call an MVP season (personally, I would have given it to Josh Allen). Regardless, he's a force under center that the Bills will have to account for.

3. Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams

Stafford was fourth in the league in EPA per play from Weeks 12-18. Dealing with him under center distributing to Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp will potentially give the Bills fits.

2. C.J. Stroud, Houston Texans

Enough of those saying "Well it was one year." Stroud took a bad Texans team and put them in the divisional round of the playoffs in his first year- he's amazing. Now he has Stefon Diggs to add to give him a tremendous trio of receivers.

1. Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs

No surprises here. The Bills can beat him in the regular season, but eventually they have to have their Peyton Manning 2006 AFC Championship Game moment where he finally beat Tom Brady in the playoffs.
