The Super Bowl-champion Los Angeles Rams are reportedly close to hiring their next offensive coordinator and it's a guy who's plenty familiar with the organization.
Sources: The Rams are expected to hire #Kentucky OC Liam Coen as offensive coordinator. Deal isn't finalized but should be in the near future. Coen spent 2018-2020 with the Rams before joining the UK staff last season. @AlbertBreer first reported on the expected deal for Coen.

Coen was an assistant with the Rams from 2018 to 2020 and if hired, would replace Kevin O'Connell, who is now the head coach of the Minnesota Vikings. The 36-year-old was the assistant wide receivers coach with Los Angeles during the 2018 and 2019 seasons before becoming the team's assistant quarterbacks coach in 2020.
The Rams have been busy seeking O'Connell's replacement, looking at candidates such as Atlanta Falcons quarterbacks coach Charles London, as well as LSU passing game coordinator Cortez Hankton. It was reported on Monday that Hankton would be staying with the Tigers.
While Los Angeles assistant head coach Thomas Brown recently interviewed for the Vikings offensive coordinator post, it was reported earlier this week that he was expected to return to head coach Sean McVay's crew.
