Cavs’ Jarrett Allen Clinches Single-Season Career-High In Latest Win

According to @BallySportsCLE on X, the 25-year-old’s 17 points and 10 rebounds gave him his 33rd double-double of the season, which is a career-high.

This is not the first double-double record Allen has broken this season. Earlier this season, he broke Cleveland’s franchise record for consecutive double-doubles with a streak that eventually reached 16 straight games he played in from December 23 through January 31.

Allen has been no stranger to double-doubles during his time with the Wine and Gold. He recorded 32 double-doubles in each of the past two seasons, and another 20 in 51 games after joining the Cavaliers during the 2020-21 season.

The 2022 All-Star has tallied a double-double in five of the Wine and Gold’s last six games, averaging 19.8 points, 13.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.3 blocks per contest in this span.

Allen is having another strong season for Cleveland, averaging a career-best 16.2 points, a team-best 10.7 rebounds, a career-best 2.7 assists, and 1.2 blocks per game, while shooting an efficient 62.6% from the field.
