USC Football: Trojans Key Safety Status Uncertain for Utah Clash
USA TODAY Sports

Your USC Trojans are set to take on the Utah Utes this Saturday, where they will look to avenge their embarrassing loss from Week 6 as well as their two losses from Utah in 2022.

It won't be an easy task as Utah always plays the Trojans well, and to add insult to injury, USC could be without their starting safety Max Williams

Head coach Lincoln Riley said Max's status as of now is questionable ahead of Saturday's showdown.

Williams exited the match against Notre Dame after suffering an apparent right-left injury. After a play in the first quarter, Williams was seen grimacing on the sideline and looked like he was in a ton of pain.

The senior safety didn't return to the game., but hopefully, he can be back out there against the Utes. The Utes are depleted themselves, but still, the Trojans could use all they can to win and get back on track.

A statement win is just what the Trojans need, and Williams would play a huge part in that.
