AND THE WINNER IS..................... .

Thanks Yardbarkers for making this such a great contest. We received some great postings and it was hard to choose just one so, I decided to choose a 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place. Before I announce the winners, I wanted to say a little something. Being a dad is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I have 3 beautiful children that are the reason for me getting up every morning and striving to be the best person, player, and dad I can be. I pray that one day they will look back on father's day and say "Wow - my dad had a huge influence on me because...."

So Happy Father's Day to everyone out there, whether you are a dad, a step-dad, or someone's father figure. You are definitley looked up to so set a good example because you are teaching the future mother's and father's of America.

Now for the moment you have all been waiting for..

1st place goes to Lisamk161. I hope your dad enjoys his autographed Jersey along with his spit shined boots.

2nd place goes to hockeychick23. Always remember, anyone can be a father but it takes someone very special to be a dad! I hope he enjoys the autographed football from "his daughter."

3rd place goes to Khollen. When we are young, we rely on our parents. As we get older, our parents begin to rely on us. I know you both are looking forward to spending time together once your dad retires. I hope he enjoys the autographed picture.

Father's Day Contest!

2 MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENTS

Hey YB's, I know I've been MIA for a few months but I'M BACK!!! Let me bring you up to date with what's been going on.

After winning the Super Bowl and getting the MVP award, my life turned crazy!! Don't get me wrong, it was a good crazy but still crazy. I was on the road, doing tv interviews, radio interviews, shooting magazine covers and all kinds of stuff for about 3 months. During that time, I had a total of 5 days to myself. It took a lot out of me but hey, I wouldn't change a single thing. When I finally got to settle down, I took a well needed vacation to Turks & Caicos. It was amazing. Other than that, I have been spending as much time with my kids as possible. I've been working out and getting back in the groove. I have also been participating in some of my teammates and friends foundation fundraisers. I know you guys are ready for my two big announcements so here it goes:

I just established the III & Long Foundation, A fund of the Pittsburgh Foundation. The goal is to raise money for research and help families that have been affected by Sickle Cell. This foundation was established in honor of my son, Santonio III, who has the disease. In case some of you didn't know, I teamed up with Reebok and auctioned off the gloves I caught the winning touchdown with in the Super Bowl with all proceeds going to The Sickle Cell Disease Assn. of America. The auction brought in over $70,000. I couldn't believe it. I was really happy I could help and participate in this way. It's hard to watch my son struggle so I pray that we can all make a difference and help figure out a cure for this disease. If you are interested in donating to the foundation, you can check out my website and click on the foundation tab. There, you will find out all the information you need to know.

That's the first big announcement. The second one is.......

I just launched my website, www.santonioholmes10.com, and it looks great!! You can download ringtones, wallpapers and buyT-shirts & caps. My team is working on other ideas as well so stay tuned. You will also be able to check out my upcoming events, football games, and fundraisers I'm involved in and stuff like that. There is an "Ask Santonio a question" section so make sure you hit me up with something you want to know about me. If I have enough people asking the same question, I might even do a video and post it. If I were you, I would check it out at least once a week because we are going to be doing contests and all sorts of things. You definitely don't want to miss out on the action. Speaking of contests, check back this Friday afternoon for information on my first YB contest!!

Thanks fans and friends!!!

Thanks for the responses to all my fans who agreed with me on the TD call. Unfortunately the Refs didnt see it that way. Things happen and somethings should never happen. I guess it was just a call referring to the "So Call" bad call from the previous Baltimore game.

Hey its been a while and i have had alot to share but with the family in town and superbowl on my mind its been hard to share alot with you guys. My question to you the fans and not just Steeler fans. Do you agree with the call in the 1st quarter? TD or Incomplete?
