Thanks fans and friends!!!
Thanks for the responses to all my fans who agreed with me on the TD call. Unfortunately the Refs didnt see it that way. Things happen and somethings should never happen. I guess it was just a call referring to the "So Call" bad call from the previous Baltimore game.

nice shout out on media day. Look forward to you doing your thing in the super bowl. I know that you will be a factor. I have a strong feeling that MVP might be on the agenda.
-
WTG Homer on that touchdown!!!!! Even with a few seconds left your offensiveness on the steelers is good. Anyway good job on the superbowl win. Let cardinals win it next year.
-
YOU WROTE THAT AFTER THE SUPER BOWL, NO KIDDING HE WOULD BE A FACTOR?
-
just wanted to put it out their that i told you holmes, you would be mvp. I was sitting with friends that all wanted the Cards to win I just waited and kept my mouth shut and I knew that it was time for you to take it over. Congrats and hopefully I can get a shout out from you if you get this for calling that you would be the factor in the game. have fun recovering from your next week of partying.
-
Good luck on Sunday!!
-
Good luck on Sunday Santonio, bring home that Lombardi Trophy
-
Thats crazy...they need new refs
-
I'm torn because I like both teams ,but I am leaning toward the Cardinals.May the best team win good luck.
-
WHAT CARDINALS??? SORRY BOO....STEELERS ALL THE WAY....EVEN THOUGH I AM AN EAGLES FAN!!!! LOL, NOW YOU SEE WHY I DON'T LIKE ARIZONA....LOL...
-
they got the call right.. everyone needs to stop sucking up to Santonio and tell it like it is.. You have to hold on to the ball all the way through the catch, that includes contact with the ground.. he went down, the ball popped out a bit.. As a receiver in the nfl, he should know this rule... But good luck to Santonio and the Steelers in the Superbowl, will be rooting for you..
-
But there is also the rule that a receiver must catch the ball, have two feet on the ground and make a football move. That is exactly what he did. He caught the ball, had two feet on the ground and then made a football move trying to score the TD. So tell us which rule should have applied?
-
Good luck!
-
I heard you coming out fessing up, that took balls GO HOLMES AND GO STEELERS!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
seen ya on media day ... looking good out there ... hopefully even better on the field. cardinals can't win.. i mean, a team that comes out of nowhere doesn't deserve it. steelers are a hard-nosed team that competes every year, you are them man santonio, go out and represent !!
-
Good luck in the SB.
By the way, does you're bud feel any remorse at all after the throw he made on Phillip Rivers? You don't have to answer that, but you must admit..that was ruthless :D -
yeah if only my eagles were in, wed dominate, but ah well hers to a good offseason
-
Sunday is going to be the Santonio Holmes show. Good luck man.
-
Good luck in the SB on Sunday. I'm looking forward to seeing you guys take it home.
-
Toine keep doing what you doing dawg. You guys need to show all the media and the talking heads that the burgh has an offense too. I am getting sick and tired about Fitz this Fitz that....blah blah.. Put your mark on this game and please... please pray they put that rookie on you 1 on 1... lol.. Bring it home !

NICE WORK COMING OUT THAT YOU USED TO SELL SHERM in FLA. Kids need to know that they can turn it all around. My heart and my wallet are pulling for you boys in Tampa!
-
Good Luck Santonio. Tear that secondary up.
-
hey Santonio! Im a HUGE steelers fan, being born and raised in Pa I know nothing else! Although I am also a HUGE Penn State fan too and the last 10yrs. YOUR Buckeyes have had our number! They (PSU) are getting back up there though and putting up a fight! Anyways, I'm rooting for you to leave Tampa with not only a ring but a new car and a SuperBowl MVP trophy! The way you have been making plays during the playoffs I think a couple big plays by you could be the difference! I'm hoping that you are called upon to return punts too! Thanks for working hard, keep your head up,and dont stress about any mistakes you make on or off field! Everyone makes mistakes!(and i caught the same weed charge you did 4 years ago and thats what it took to get me to quit smoking)kinda:P Be Easy! Peace.........Obie (from Clearfield,Pa)
-
Balkia must be a Ravens fan! It was plain as DAY that you made a football move before going to the ground so that rule he is talking about with maintaining posession all the way is out the window! Theres alot of Steeler Haters out there, but when your as good as you and your team is you will have that! Bring one home to put on the middle finger to show off to people like him! OBIE
-
You know what I'm here in AZ and everybody is runnin their mouth how the Cards are gonna roll over the Steelers....Well Being an Eagles fan I will be for my Steeler brothers on the AFC side of PA! destroy the Cards they are arrogant and disrespecting the Steelers and their fans by stomping on the terrible towel give them some up bringin boys!
-
GO DESTROY THEM Warner should not win another one, and neither should Adrian Wilson before Dawkins does

Santonio,
I'm a 51 year old father of three, my oldest is the same age as yourself. He's enduring combat training at the present with the United States Marine Corps. To say that I'm proud is an understatement. To hear you tell thousands of people that you spent the post-game hours with your children watching Madagascar made me equally proud of you. You don't know me and we'll probably never meet... but for what it's worth I want to thank you on behalf of all the dads out there that are really trying to be what they ought to be for their kids.
I've served as chaplain for our local high school football team for the past several years. Most of those young players look up to you and find the courage to succeed in life because of what you do! Again, I want to commend you for doing the right thing and showing these young men that there are still young males in America that know how to man-up and be a hero to their family first & foremost. Most of my players do not have real men in their lives... our head coach is the exception for many of them. Persons that put family first give them hope that it can work.
I understand you made a bad move back in October with regards to an illegal substance. I hope & pray that you will put that lifestyle behind you and make a clean break with it. You've shown the world that you can be all that God purposed you to be without that useless mess! Can I put courage into you to continue to live out your every day walking around life in a manner that will make your boys & your precious daughter proud of what you are! They deserve it.
Please believe me, when you look back, when they are 24 and living life fully and becoming all that they can be you'll be thankful to God that you made the right decisions and presented before them the right lifestyle.
Keep doing the right things for the right reasons with your family. I'll keep challenging my players to do the same.
If you ever come through Martinsville look me up. I am
Faithfully yours,

Great game Santonio! Go Buckeyes!
-
Always great to see a former Buckeye do great things in the NFL! I've just started a painting, paying tribute to your remarkable catch in the Super Bowl...here's a progress photo.

-
I forgot to add...if anyone wants to see more photos of the painting as it progresses, here's the link to the page on my website: http://www.cincysportsart.com/thecatch.html
There's only a couple of photos so far, as I just started the painting last night, but I will hopefully add some more soon! -
Quick photo update of the painting...Enjoy.

-
Tone, I am looking for you to get back on here man. I was wondering what you think of the new rules that were just passed? Kinda seems like maybe one or two of them were aimed at you men getting a little too good at your craft and some folks getting upset. I was just curious what kind of adjustments you will make to be within the new rules...I know its gonna be rough for Hines. Holla atcha lata bro!!!!
